Sandlot Baseball BC - Corey Eckstein

“ I first met Coach Corey at the Powerzone Academy back when I was in Bantam. At this time I was playing baseball in Chilliwack but would make the trip every Sunday to Abbotsford to see him for help with my pitching and hitting. From here, Coach Corey asked me to come to the Yale Baseball Academy in my grade 10 year, which I did. I went on to attend the academy for my grade 10,11, and 12 year. Over these 3 years of attending the academy I learned not only how to become a better pitcher, but to become a better person as well. Even though Coach Corey never truly "Coached" me on a team, he was still the first person I would go and ask for advice. Coach Corey has also helped me get to where I am now at Cloud County Community College, through making phone calls, sending emails, and making reference letters for me. I am truly grateful for all the hard work Coach Corey has put in to making me better and getting me to where I am today in baseball.
